High-performance Rotary-type Mounter
- The newly-developed, high-speed, high accuracy image system enables a wide range of components from 0201 chips to 26mm square BGA, CSP, and QFP components to be mounted quickly and precisely.

Super Direct Drive Head
- Hitachi has raised the direct drive head, that is configured into a single integrated unit with the motor, to a new level.
- Capabilities of selecting and changing the five pick-up nozzles by themselves, these self-sufficient heads help to improve the reliability of the nozzle unit and simplify the peripheral mechanisms.
- No more time is wasted in selecting the mounting angle (0 to 360°) and changing the nozzles.
- The heads' damping control appreciably enhance the accuracy with which the rotation.

Linear Motor Drive Feeder Table
- The feeder axis movement speed is about 3 times faster than that managed by the ball screw system, and this results in an improved throughput.
- Unlike the ball screw system lubrication is not required; this releases you from the burden of having to conduct maintenance for a long time ahead.
- Both vibration and noise are kept to a level low because the linear motor drive which was newly introduced.

Automatic Oil Cooling
- An oil bath construction is used for all the cam drive modules to improve reliability and maintenance.
- Using the automatic oil cooling mechanism, the temperature of the oil inside the index unit is automatically controlled to reduce the effects of the heat and enhance reliability.

Improved Reliability of Component Pickup and Mounting
- Intelligent Line Sensor
- Line sensors detect all of the component attitudes picked up (present or not, vertical error, etc.) and component tip level on the nozzle, and feeds this information back to CPU of the machine for the nozzle descending level control upon placing to ensure that 0201 micro chips and other components are mounted stably.
- The X, Y, and Z axis control capability for component pick-up and mounting serves to ensure extremely reliable component pick-up and mounting.
