Hitachi's unique technology produced an optical system that significantly reduces loss of light.
Hitachi's unique technologies -- 3D optical axis design, new beam-collecting mirrors, slit flow cells, and optimized transmission beam monitor -- have realized an optical system that significantly reduces loss of light. With this "bright" optical system, the L-2485 detector can provide a S/N ratio of 900 or over (using a baseline for Raman spectrum of water).
- Ultra-high sensitivity: S/N 900 or over (using a baseline for Raman spectrum of water)
- Variable slit widths: The slit width is switchable between 15 nm and 30 nm, providing greater sensitivity.
- Automatic wavelength check: With a built-in Hg lamp, the L-2485 performs automatic wavelength check.
- GLP compliance: Lamp energy check, lamp usage log, lamp replacement log, and wavelength accuracy.
- Flexibility to accommodate to various analytical applications: Time programming for excitation/emission beams is supported. You can also select from a wide range of wavelengths and functions to collect and save excitation/emission spectra.
- Front panel access for maintenance: User maintenance parts (e.g., Xe lamp and flow cell) can be easily accessed from the front panel.
