Overview
IBA automatically registers the retention time and m/z information of precursor ions M1, M3, M5 that were analyzed in the first injection LC/MS/MS run. In the subsequent LC/MS/MS runs, the registered precursor ions are excluded from tandem analysis, so that less intense peaks that were not tandem-analyzed in the first injection are eventually tandem-analyzed.
Both off-line registration of known interferants and unknown molecules that are registered real-time in previous LC injections are registered for exclusion from subsequent tandem analysis.
