Overview
Hitachi is a major manufacturer of key components in the electrical and electronic consumer industry. The Progressive Unit is utilized in Rear Projection Televisions to convert existing broadcast (525i) to high-quality performance close to digital high vision broadcasts.
The Progressive Unit is designed to convert interlace (interlaced scanning) to progressive (sequential scanning) with high quality signals.This product is a video signal converter, featuring among other things:
- Conversion of input 480i signal to a progressive signal before being converted to a video signal in a predetermined format for output; (*1)
- Conversion of input 480p, 1080i and 720p signals to a video signal in a predetermined format for output;(*1)
- A wide mode selection feature to permit choosing from a choice of wide picture display modes;
- A multiple picture display function for two pictures, four pictures and P in P;
- Two dimensions LTI/CTI and noise reduction (Frame recursive type/DC shift type) have a quality of output setup function;
- Do detection the input signal line number, input signal aspect and others;
- This product is functionally controlled via an external two-wire bus;
