Display Products Group provides sales and service support for an array of display products such as LCD TV, LCD monitors, plasma TV, plasma monitors, LCD mobile displays, automotive in-dash displays, navigation displays, and digital signage monitors, to a wide range of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), original design manufacturers (ODMs), contract manufacturers (CMs), and domestic integrators in the NAFTA region (US, Canada, and Mexico).
Plasma display:
ECD's Display Products Group works in conjunction with Hitachi Plasma Display Limited in Japan to provide display parts sales and repair service support ofplasma panel displays to OEMs, ODMs, CMs, and domestic integrators in the NAFTA region. Plasma display parts such as PCBs, sustainer boards, logic boards, flex cable tabs, and glass parts, are made available by Hitachi Plasma Display Ltd. to their NAFTA region customers through Hitachi High Technologies America's ECD Display Products Group.
LCD display:
ECD's Display Products Group also works in conjunction with Hitachi Display Ltd. in Japan (HDP), Hitachi Electronics Devices USA (HEDUS), and Kaohsiung Hitachi Electronics Inc. (KHE) in Taiwan, with regards to the sales and support of LCD displays for television, mobile, automotive and digital signage solutions.
Flat panel display repair services:
Hitachi High Technologies America ECD's partnership with Momentum FPD Services located in Newbury Park, California, provides our customers a full line of flat panel repair services, from defect screening, testing,to actual glass replacement of plasma screens.Extensive repair works provided for both LCD and plasma displays includes: LRU/PCB replacements, polar film replacement (for LCDs), TAB bonding (plasma and LCD), COG (chip on glass bonding and repair), glass replacement (plasma displays), full assembly, pattern test and burn-in diagnosis. ECD's Repair services program are offeredasboth manufacturer warranty services, and non-warranty services.
