Description:
We are seeking to hire one (1) Financial Analyst to work for our Semiconductor Equipment Division (SED). The position is located in Dallas, TX, near DFW Airport. SED is an established semiconductor equipment division which supplies and supports plasma ECR etchers used in the manufacturing of semiconductors.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis support. This position will create and develop reports for both the Director and the Senior Vice President of the division.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain and update the accounts for Service Contract revenue and deferred income. Balance the accounts with SAP and research and resolve any discrepancies working with management and administration. Make any recommendations to improve reporting and procedures of the process.
• Compile, publish & review with management P/L statements for all Service cost centers resolving issues and discrepancies with management, making recommendations as to expense reporting and handling.
• Handle all accounting transactions in SAP confirming all transactions meet the Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) and resolve any issues with management.
• Interface with HQ Accounting to resolve pending issues concerning General Ledger accounts and monthly closing activities.
• Work with international CPAs to ensure foreign operations comply with HQ accounting practices.
• Travel (domestic and international) as needed.
• Handle all duties with discretion while maintaining confidentiality.
• Special, short- or long-term projects for other staff members as requested.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business, emphasis in Accounting.
• 5+ years of financial analysis experience or equivalent.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Access and Outlook.
• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Experience as a team or project leader highly desirable.
