Rapid Analysis of Azole Antifungal Drugs in Topical Formulations Using the Hitachi LaChromUltra™ Liquid Chromatography System
Azole antifungal medications show long retention times when using conventional HPLC. Using Hitachi’s LaChromUltra™ rapid LC system, the run times for 3 azole antifungals was reduced by up to 10-fold. These methods save analytical labs money through solvent usage, hazardous waste disposal, and higher through-put sample analysis.
