Analysis of Parabens Using the Chromaster HPLC with Diode Array Detection

Parabens are widely used in cosmetic and food formulations, yet also are suspected of posing health hazards. As such, it is important to accurately measure the concentration of various parabens present in a product. Presented here is a method for analysis of parabens in hand cream using the highly flexible Hitachi Chromaster HPLC system with diode array detection.
